Youth Recreation Card Programming
What is this program - This program provides FREE YMCA memberships to kids in grades K-6. AmeriCorps Volunteers and YMCA staff will provide supervision and organized games (sports, ping pong, Wii) and activities (arts, crafts, coloring, legos, etc.) based on what kids are interested in. Please note, it is recommended that kids attend in increments of 2 hours or less, as the intent of the program is not as a licensed daycare, but more of an opportunity for kids to participate in activities at the YMCA.
Age Guidelines - Kids 9 and under must be supervised to use their YMCA membership (Youth Recreation or regular) by someone over the age of 13. Kids ages 10 and up are allowed to be in the building on their own and must follow YMCA rules, regulations and schedules. Kids ages 9 and under can participate at the times listed below without supervision.
