Camps

Adventure Camp

YMCA Adventure Camp is an exciting place to be on school days off!!  Activities include art, gym, outdoor activities, fi eld trips and swimming. Hours are from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack are included.

Registration:

September-December session registration begins August 23,2010

January-May session registration begins January 2nd, 2011

Registration will close two days prior to camp date

Fee:

$38 per day per child

 

 

Day Camp, Kinder Camp and Summer Safari for Summer 2011

Registration: Saturday, April 9, 2011 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Please check website for further details.

 

 

 


 

Super Sitters

A national program designed for beginning babysitters, grades 5 and up. It teaches creative babysitting skills and personal safety skills needed by children who are home alone or in a babysitting situation. Participants receive a certificate upon completion of class.  Class meets from 9AM to 3PM. All materials and lunch are included in the fee. Participants must be pre-enrolled to attend class. Limited to 18 participants. Registration begins 2 weeks prior to class date.

Y Afterschool

What are your kids doing after school? At the Y, kids build self-esteem, values and leadership skills. You’ll know they’re growing and exploring to their potential; they’ll just think they’re having fun! Childcare assistance is accepted and limited scholarships are available.

Ages: K-6th Grade


Program Dates: August 26th, 2010-May 26th, 2011

Before School Care at the YMCA Youth Development Center 
6:30 am-8:00 am (breakfast provided)
$107/month for members/ $157/month for non-members
$30/month transportation fee
AM transportation available to Grimsrud, Northridge, Centennial and Sunrise

After School Care provided at the YMCA and YDC North location (Century Baptist Church)
3:05 pm-6:00 pm (snack provided)
$152/month for members/ $204/month for non-members
$30/month transportation fee
PM transportation available from Grimsrud, Northridge, Centennial, Sunrise, Miller, Highland Acres, Roosevelt and Rita Murphy

Jr Kindergarten

The YMCA Youth Development Center preschool program offers classes differentiating by age/developmental abilities and is offered part-time, September through May. Our program is offered for children ages 3-5 and utilizes developmentally appropriate curricula to develop children socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. These programs include Creative Curriculum, physical education, water exploration and swimming skills and YMCA swimming safety skills. Four-fi ve year old classes are designed for Kindergarten readiness. We offer morning, afternoon or all day Tuesday or Thursday sessions. Please call the YMCA Youth Development Center at 255-6122 for registration and tuition information.

Registration: For the 2011-2012 school year begins Monday, February 14, 2011
